In 1920’s, the inventor Thomas Edison (known for creating the efficient version of the lightbulb) shocked the public when he told American Magazine: “I have been at work for some time, building an apparatus to see if it is possible for personalities which have left this earth to communicate with us.”
The spooky invention became known as a ‘Spirit phone’. And despite lots of controversy, it was never recorded to be successful and unfortunately no blueprints can be found.
